Enhancing the Lives of Lexington Seniors
Supporting a vibrant, active senior community with engaging connections, comprehensive resources and diverse activities.
What We Do
We bridge the gap in funding for the Lexington Senior Centers, ensuring seniors have access to well-equipped facilities, engaging programs and a welcoming community.
Creating a Vibrant Community
The Friends of the Lexington Senior Centers help to ensure that participants have an engaging place to convene for both exercise and play. We fill the gaps where traditional funding falls short.
Celebrating Connection
We believe in the power of community and help encourage social interaction and bonding. By fostering these connections, we support a network of friends who uplift one another, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.
Bringing Joy and Enrichment
We provide resources and activities that aim to bring joy and enrichment to the lives of Lexington seniors. Our support helps ensure they have opportunities to pursue creative, recreational and fitness activities, fostering a sense of purpose, health and community.

Just one more reason to celebrate Lexington living, our senior centers are appealing, accessible and buzzing with activity!
About Us
The Friends of the Lexington Senior Centers help by catching little things that slip through the cracks in operating budgets.
For example, we help maintain supplies for art and music studios, help make sure exercise equipment is in good working order and provide other supplies to help keep seniors active and creative.
With our help, these well-stocked shelves encourage camaraderie and conversation — and make sure important items such as emergency medical supplies and equipment don’t run low.
Because we believe in friends helping friends, we purposely chose a symbol of a community, a friendship quilt, to visually represent our mission.
We believe Lexington seniors deserve a lively place to come together and make the most of life. If you think so too, you can make a secure donation here.
Friends of the Lexington Senior Centers is a 501(c)(3) organization, so your donation is both tax deductible — and hugely appreciated!
