Susan Bachner, MA, OT, FAOTA (retired), worked more than 50 years as an occupational therapist and consultant, including running her own home adaptations business to improve safety, accessibility, and social participation. She received the National Association of Home Builders’ “Home for Life Award” in 2014 and has published extensively. Today, she serves on the Lexington Senior Citizens Commission and the Reimagining Home Group.
